Jill Silberstein is a freelance agency producer based in Los Angeles. She’s worked on almost every side of the industry from agency to vendor and values creative above all else. She is currently freelancing at Goodby Silverstein & Partners (no relation) and prior to that she freelanced at Preacher, spreading the good word.

Before going freelance, Jill was the executive content producer at Code and Theory, a digital ad agency in New York City, where she ran the content department and the in-house content studio. She worked in tandem with the strategy, creative, and account teams to execute compelling work for Burger King, Dr Pepper, and Maybelline, among many others. She was responsible for all business affairs related to the projects and oversight of the production team and vendors. One of her projects for Burger King featuring Snoop Dogg won a Cannes Lion for Storytelling in 2016.

Prior to Code and Theory, she was the executive producer at the well-known audio post-production company, Sound Lounge, also based in New York City. There, she oversaw the production, sales and marketing teams for the television commercial division. She also produced spots which ran during the Superbowl, the 2012 Olympics, and won various awards, including a Cannes Lion for Sound Design on a Google Play spot in 2012.

While at Mother New York, she developed their internal production department, Mother Productions, alongside a fellow executive producer. The department consisted of writers, editors, motion designers, and producers and they created hundreds of videos. There, she created some of her favorite work - a doc series for Chevy and a short film called FELT.

Prior to Mother, she freelanced on high-end commercials, music videos, celebrity photo shoots, short films, local promos, webisodes, and fashion installations across the US and in Paris. And before that, she worked on staff at SMUGGLER and Mackcut where she worked with award-winning directors and editors, respectively.

Jill has a three-legged dog with a distaste for most other dogs and tollbooth workers, but displays a positive outlook on life, as does she. Beyond producing, she is a polarity practitioner and birth doula supporting women throughout their pregnancy, birth, and journey as new mamas.
